Nowadays lots of crosses and passes describe curved lines, and some of these beautiful actions concur with straight lines, stopping the game to give the ball possession to the opposite team through hand throws. Result, prettier game play and longer ball possession. The goal: following the previous change, of turning the poles round, I feel that the combination of possible arches made by the goalkeeper´s jump and arm movement, should be translated to the goal posts and bar, thus rounding the upper corners by bending both bar and poles, but maintaining the goal area. This would benefit the goalkeeper, increasing the possibility of their goal saves. Result: Fairing goalkeepers with better chances of great goal saves.
